Meanwhile, it was a nightmare weekend for Alex Marquez. After a lackluster sprint race finish in P17, the younger Marquez tried an aggressive move on Joan Mir early in the main race that went horribly wrong. Both riders crashed out, dramatically hurting Alex’s championship hopes.
