Marc Marquez Conquers Sachsenring Yet Again with 9th German GP Victory

Marquez Makes It 9 at Sachsenring,

Sachsenring, GermanyMarc Marquez and Sachsenring: still the most romantic couple in MotoGP.

The eight-time world champ reminded everyone exactly why he’s still El Jefe on two wheels by cruising to a lights-to-flag victory at the German Grand Prix, his ninth career win at the track and fourth consecutive victory in the 2025 season.

Riding his factory Ducati like it was on rails, Marquez led from pole and never looked back—not even once. The rest of the grid? They may as well have been racing for second, and even that was a hard-fought affair.

Brotherly Business

If Marc was untouchable, Alex Marquez wasn’t too shabby either. The Gresini rider delivered a clean, composed ride to finish second and remind the paddock that Marquez DNA is still a cheat code at Sachsenring.

Completing the podium was defending champ Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia, who had a relatively quiet but crucial third-place finish. Not the fireworks we’re used to from the Ducati top dog, but points are points—and he’s gonna need every one of them to catch up.

Attrition, Anyone?

The dry conditions didn’t prevent the race from turning into a survival test, with several riders struggling to make the flag. But Fabio Quartararo, still searching for Yamaha magic, managed to fend off the rookie fire of Fermin Aldeguer to secure fourth. Behind them, a top 10 littered with bruised egos and broken lap times:

Chasing Legends

This victory not only bolsters Marc’s 2025 title charge—he’s now 83 points clear at the top—but it also nudges him into second place all-time in MotoGP wins with 69 victories, leapfrogging past legends and leaving just one man ahead: Valentino Rossi (89 wins).

Can he catch The Doctor? At this rate, you’d be a fool to bet against it.

🗣️ What’s Next?

With momentum, machinery, and maybe a dash of Marquez mojo on his side, the championship is looking increasingly like a one-man show. But MotoGP has a habit of throwing curveballs—just ask your nearest Aprilia mechanic.

Stay tuned as the circus rolls on. One thing’s certain: Sachsenring still belongs to Marc Marquez.
